Starring Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson as the parents of a boy named Dalton (Ty Simpkins) who falls into a coma when he has an accident at the house they just moved into. When vengeful spirits begin to contact them from a different realm, called “The Further, they realize that they are dealing with something far from their control. Some may say that Insidious is the thriller of the year. If you like horror stories about malevolent spirits and different dimensions, etc. you will love insidious.

While there, she discovers creatures in the shadows. Creatures who want to claim her as their own. Rated R, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark seems to be a film worth going to see.

Rio stars the voices of Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, The Social Network) and Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada, Ella Enchanted) who play the characters of two “Macaus,” a nearly extinct species of bird. They are brought together to bring their species back into existence- however awkward it may be.

The Source Code

Jake Gyllenhaal starred in a psychological thriller years ago called “Donnie Darko” (which is my favorite movie, I highly recommend you see) and now he returns to do another film of the same genre. The Source Code is machine that allows a person to be placed in the identity of someone who has died, 8 minutes before their death. I can’t explain much more without spoiling the movie, so I’ll just trust that you’ll go see it yourself. Rating? 2 thumbs up- Kyle

Unknown a thriller which tells the story of a man who awakens after a coma to discover someone took over his identity. Liam Neeson plays the role of Dr. Martin Harris, a scientist that is in Berlin for a conference. When Harris and his wife, Elizabeth Harris, arrive at the hotel to check in, he realizes he left his briefcase at the airport. Harris leaves his wife at the hotel and hops into a taxi to return to the airport to retrieve his case. But on the way, the cab is in an accident and Harris suffers a head trauma. He wakes up after four days in a coma and tracks down his wife at the hotel. When Elizabeth sees him, she claims she has no idea who he is. Worse yet, she introduces him to her husband, Dr. Martin Harris, a man who is obviously not him. According to Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun Times “Unknown” is a skillfully photographed and acted film, and few actors are better than Liam Neeson at playing a man who has had the rug pulled out from under him.”

Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is – a task he considers impossible. It will be released on March the 4^th 2011. Starring Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens, Neil Patrick Harris, and Mary-Kate Olson.

This action packed movie, filled with guns and explosions, stars Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman. Willis plays a RED (Retired Extremely Dangerous). The vice president puts a hit out on all R.E.D’s. Now, it’s up to them to save the vice president from his own men. It’s an intense definite see. Rating?

Fable 3

This is my personal favorite game of the Fable trilogy. There’s a “Road to Rule” now, which is a new leveling system. It’s one of the few, and best Role Playing Games (RPG) on the Xbox 360. You are a prince/princess, and your brother, Logan, is King, he rules like a tyrant. You must go around Albion gathering allies. This is an awesome game, this is a must play. 5 stars.

Rampage

Rampage is one of the most intense, action packed movies you will ever see. Bill, a twenty-something, employed, but low on money. He can’t afford college, his own house, he’s frustrated. He’s tired of everyone taking everything for granted, so, he goes on a “Rampage”- his own way of population control. He builds a suit, gathers guns, and goes on a kill spree. This is a great movie, and if blood and guts don’t make you queasy, we highly recommend this. Rating?

Dear John:
John meets Savannah over spring break. She drops her bag in the ocean and he jumps in and saves it, which pretty much had her whole life in it. They get together and go to this get together party at her house and get to know each other better. They fell in love. Then John gets sent off to war. They write each other everyday he is at war. Twelve months go by and they get back together again. John has to be sent off again to war and Savannah get very upset. He leaves for awhile and then Savannah sends him a breakup letter. He becomes broken-hearted and he burns all of the letters she sent and stays in the army for several years. He finally gets sent back home and he meets Savannah again and confronts her. They then go apart. They meet each other at a coffee shop at random at the end of the movie and they smile and hug. This is not a chick-flick. Definite must see. Rating?
