This week’s game was great as BHP won once again, BHP won 42-10. It was great! Our team has been so motivated, and I’m hoping we win state!!! I think it is amazing that the first year Blackston became head coach we brought it out strong and haven’t lost a game yet… that has let me know that Black has the team’s head on straight, and he is doing really well with them. We have the greatest players on our team that anyone could ask for. Our QB Cody Spencer has made 22 touchdowns this year. Chuck Lindsey has been a marvelous running back all through the season and has never lost his momentum. Jared Jennings seems to be able to block anything that comes his way. All of our players have contributed to this mighty Bear team in extraordinary efforts. We appreciate it all and cheer you all the way. I love the fact that every time the teams we play think they have a chance against us, we crush them. This has been the best year since 2004. Hopefully, we will continue on in our undefeated season going against Chester. By Brittany Johnson and Kennedy Weaver

The game against Daniel an BHP was the best game of my life. I have never seen nothing like it. It was like I was on the field with them I just wasn’t running. Now let me pause…. For a sec. I thought that Daniel was going to give us a run for our money but then I remember as being a bear an looking at the faces of bears we all had to have faith in each other and believe. The game was very close I mean who would have ever thought that we would go double over time when Dayjun Martin made that touch down I thought Daniel was over until they came right back with one. When I seen Lindsey put that ball in his hands one more time I knew ha would kill the whole show. I enjoy how the bears put they heart into the game an don’t give up but when we left at the end with the winning score of 34-28. I felt very great!!!

The 2010 BHP Homecoming game was great I have to give some props to coach Blackston for giving us the best game ever! Not only did we win but the score was 69-7. The only reason Pickens scored was because we felt sorry for them at the end. But at the end of the game I realized we are and will continue to be unstoppable.

OMG… another win? Now I know why they call us the bears. Man we took our big paw and made all the mustangs wreck ha ha! That game was so sad, I almost felt bad, NOT! Anyway let’s get to the goods. Chuck Linckey made three touchdowns. I wish y’all could have seen them little short legs running. Spencer was doing it big too. Now he had 178 yards of passing and 24 rushes. Dajun Martin a.k.a. Hollywood let Spencer hit ‘em as he went on a fade route for a leaping 31-yard touchdown. I got 0. The score of the night was 35-0; you tell me who won this year. Sorry mustangs, maybe next time lol!

It’s the biggest game of the year. People go the whole year with out watching a single football game, but when the Super bowl comes around everyone seems to become a die hard fan of the NFL. This past Sunday, February 7, The NFL’s two best teams squared off in an epic battle to the end. The Saints came into this game with one goal in mind. That goal was to bring hope to the city of New Orleans. With the hearts of America on their side, the Saints pulled off a historic victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Once down 10-0 in the first quarter the Saints never gave up hope and kept fighting for their city. After the final whistle blew the Saints had a prevailing victory of 31-17. The Saints may have been the underdog in this game but some say that they may have had destiny on their side. With a flawless game Saints’ Quarterback, Drew Brees brought a Super bowl Title to his team and also took home the MVP award. No matter who you were pulling for this past Sunday their has to be some sense of happiness for the Saints and the city of New Orleans for overcoming the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
