When vengeful spirits begin to contact them from a different realm, called “The Further, they realize that they are dealing with something far from their control. Some may say that Insidious is the thriller of the year. If you like horror stories about malevolent spirits and different dimensions, etc. you will love insidious.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, is a horror film that is to be released August 13th 2011. It is about a girl who is sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend. While there, she discovers creatures in the shadows. Creatures who want to claim her as their own. Rated R, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark seems to be a film worth going to see.

In the game against Daniel, BHP had a stalemate. Due to rain, the game was postponed to another time. Before the game was canceled Daniel was winning 2 to 0. The BHP playoffs are coming up soon. Go Bears!

BHP played Emerald last Friday and lost 3 to 0. It was a very tough game and the Bears played well despite the lack of players. BHP boys’ soccer has another game tomorrow.

The bears played a great game and beat Dixie 2 to 1 with Cameron Park scoring both of the goals. Unfortunately the bears suffered two injured players: Brice West, and Ted Haynie. Other injured Boys soccer players include: Chandler Boatwright, Darius Williams, Charlie Meeks, and Will Cason.

Rio stars the voices of Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, The Social Network) and Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada, Ella Enchanted) who play the characters of two “Macaus,” a nearly extinct species of bird. They are brought together to bring their species back into existence- however awkward it may be.

“When I went to theatres to see this, I was really just expecting a bad rip-off of Shrek. But I was proved wrong, it was a good movie, very funny and very original.” –Kyle, 2 thumbs up

The Source Code

Jake Gyllenhaal starred in a psychological thriller years ago called “Donnie Darko” (which is my favorite movie, I highly recommend you see) and now he returns to do another film of the same genre. The Source Code is machine that allows a person to be placed in the identity of someone who has died, 8 minutes before their death. I can’t explain much more without spoiling the movie, so I’ll just trust that you’ll go see it yourself. Rating? 2 thumbs up- Kyle

The Bears played a tough game but ended up coming a little short. The game went into overtime with the game ending 1 to 0 in Pickens favor. The boys’ soccer will have another game on April 14.

The Bears won a close game against Clinton with a score of 3-2. The goals were scored by Julio Gomez and Luke Jones, Julio scored 2 and Luke scored 1. The boys’ soccer team will have another game on Thursday, March 31. They look forward to another win to add to their record.

The Bears played West Oak on the 14th of March. Using both possession and speed, the Bears dominated, 5 to 0. The goals were scored as follows: Brice West-1, Darius Williams-3, and Joe Dorn-1. The Belton soccer team looks forward to another great season.
