OMG… another win? Now I know why they call us the bears. Man we took our big paw and made all the mustangs wreck ha ha! That game was so sad, I almost felt bad, NOT! Anyway let’s get to the goods. Chuck Linckey made three touchdowns. I wish y’all could have seen them little short legs running. Spencer was doing it big too. Now he had 178 yards of passing and 24 rushes. Dajun Martin a.k.a. Hollywood let Spencer hit ‘em as he went on a fade route for a leaping 31-yard touchdown. I got 0. The score of the night was 35-0; you tell me who won this year. Sorry mustangs, maybe next time lol!

Senior Reminsce

As the year comes to an end, seniors have many things to look back on. I recently sat down with Jacob Chapman, Jacob Tavernier, and Nino Woolridge in an interview to reminisce on the past four years. Unfortunately the video did not work. As a whole these boys do not have any regrets. They are proud because they got to be a part of being region champs in baseball and making it to the 2nd round of playoffs in football. Jacob Chapman will go to college and not play any sports. Jacob Tavernier will be playing baseball and Nino will be playing football. After college Jacob Chapman will pursue his career while Jacob Tavernier will attend law school and Nino hopes to get into the NFL draft. Some words of wisdom from these boys to uprising athletes is to work hard, listen to your coaches, and always give it everything you’ve got! Thank you so much for your time guys!!!

Bhp Bear Prom

This week is a big week for BHP. Juniors and seniors are getting ready for the prom this Saturday. Everyone that wants to go has gotten their tickets, and is ready for some fun. And yes we all know that for us, the Junior-Senior Prom is a time for us all to get dressed in our best and bust some moves on the dance floor. So one last time, get ready for some fun because seniors know this is their last BHP Prom. Also as a reminder, we all want to let lose, but drinking this weekend won’t make it any better, drive safe and be safe.

Saints Win the 2010 Super Bowl

It’s the biggest game of the year. People go the whole year with out watching a single football game, but when the Super bowl comes around everyone seems to become a die hard fan of the NFL. This past Sunday, February 7, The NFL’s two best teams squared off in an epic battle to the end. The Saints came into this game with one goal in mind. That goal was to bring hope to the city of New Orleans. With the hearts of America on their side, the Saints pulled off a historic victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Once down 10-0 in the first quarter the Saints never gave up hope and kept fighting for their city. After the final whistle blew the Saints had a prevailing victory of 31-17. The Saints may have been the underdog in this game but some say that they may have had destiny on their side. With a flawless game Saints’ Quarterback, Drew Brees brought a Super bowl Title to his team and also took home the MVP award. No matter who you were pulling for this past Sunday their has to be some sense of happiness for the Saints and the city of New Orleans for overcoming the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Powder-puff 2010

The powder-puff game is on Thursday, January 28^th at 6:00pm. Admission is $3.00 which is at steal considering all that there is to offer.

Powder-puff is an annual event BHP hosts where girls play the football game while sophomore football players play the part as cheerleaders. Senior and junior varsity will be the coaches this year. There will be hot chocolate and tasty treats served during powder-puff.

This year there will also be a powder-puff queen. Students will vote during lunch for their sophomore football player to win the title of powder-puff queen. One vote costs one penny but higher currency will cancel out a hopefuls vote.

After the powder-puff game, join us for a bonfire and a car bashing. But be sure to dress warm for the cold weather!
