Movies for Halloween

So if you’re anything like me, Halloween (and the entire month of October) is dedicated to horror movies. So, this month we’re going to be doing coverage for what movies are best for this month.

Evil Dead- This is definitely one of my all time favorites. The setting of the movie is that of any cliché horror film- a cabin in the middle of the woods- but this film is anything but cliché! The Necrinomicon Ex-mortis (roughly translated: The Book of the Dead) inked in blood and binded in human flesh, has the power to bring evil spirits upon the world that posses the living, and the dead! Severed limbs, chainsaws, screams, and sawed off shotguns make up this film of endless gore and terror. Sam Raimi is a legendary film maker of B movies who smoothly infuses terror and gore, along with great humor. For this month, I highly recommend Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and the final chapter in the saga, Army of Darkness.  Rating?

2 thumbs up- Kyle

2 thumbs up- Rooster

Killer Klowns From Outer Space- This unique film is about aliens, who look like clowns, crash landing on earth in their space ship which looks like a circus tent. They terrorize a small town, turning people into cotton candy and saving them to snack on later. None of the police officers will believe the reports of  “Clowns, running around killing and turning people into cotton candy.” So it’s up to the rebellious youth to save their town from- Killer Klowns From Outer Space. 2 thumbs up- Kyle
