Do you watch TV? Do you exercise? Well for some people they love to go home and play Call of Duty: World at War on their PS3 or Xbox 360. But some people can’t play games because they can’t afford a Playstation 3, because of its $499 price tag. Well Sony knows that in this recession some people can’t afford to buy a system that’s expensive.
This new system is smaller than the previous version. It also has a bigger hardrive than some of the previous systems. The PS3 Slim boasts a 120 GB hardrive, unlike two of its ancestors who’ve only had a 40 and 80 GB drive. This machine also runs a lot more quietly than the existing PS3. It uses 34 percent less power and takes up 32 percent less space. Sony hopes that this new system will improve sales for the PS3 during these trying times.
